Victoria has the biggest Greek population outside of Athens, and there are predictions that it's about to expand even further.
The financial crisis in Greece has seen unemployment rise to nearly 17 percent, for young people it's nearly 40 per cent, which is why some Greeks decide to leave their homes in search of better future in Australia.
Vassilis Adrahtas was born in Australia but he has lived in Athens since he was a child.

After becoming a father he left Greece permanently, hoping to create a better future for his children.
"With all the situation in Greece I just realised that that was not a society or a country to raise up children. No future for them there," Mr Adrahtas told SBS.
Last year only 134 Australian visas were granted to Greeks, but the Department of Immigration has seen an increase in inquiries and predicts it will translate to more Greeks making the move Down Under.
