Melbourne veteran Bernie Vince has avoided a suspension, but Port Adelaide's Tom Jonas was offered a two-match ban by the AFL's match review panel on Monday.
Vince was charged with striking Brisbane's Dayne Beams, but escaped with a $1500 fine despite having already been suspended twice this year.
The Demons midfielder is now free to play against Collingwood in round 23.
Jonas wasn't so lucky and will miss round 23 and the first week of the finals if he accepts the MRP's sanction for an incident involving the Western Bulldogs' Luke Dahlhaus.
Jonas was charged with rough conduct after he made high contact in an off-the-ball incident that floored the Bulldogs' midfielder during Port's win in Ballarat.
The incident was assessed as intentional contact with low impact to the head.
Jonas, who served a six-week suspension for striking West Coast's Andrew Gaff last season, had his penalty increased to three games due to his bad record, but can miss two with an early guilty plea.
The Power host Gold Coast on Saturday night and need a win to have any hope of finishing in the top four.
Fremantle ruckman Sean Darcy was the only other player to be offered a suspension following the MRP's assessment of round 22 action.
He can accept a one-game ban for striking Richmond's Nick Vlastuin and risks a two-match suspension with an unsuccessful trip to the tribunal.
