Geelong should brace themselves for an onslaught as Melbourne looks to make amends for the most disappointing loss of their AFL season.
The Demons' hopes for finals football ended in miserable fashion on Sunday with a 20-point defeat the hands of Carlton.
That the Blues were on a nine-game losing streak says a lot about Melbourne's performance, which led to some glum faces in the Demons dressing rooms.
While September footy is no longer possible, Dom Tyson says it's made Melbourne even more determined to end their season on a high.
"At an individual level there are a lot of guys with still a lot of play for ... we'll be bringing a heightened intensity for the weekend," he told reporters on Monday.

Tyson almost apologised for the showing, which came after three wins in a row over Gold Coast, Hawthorn and Port Adelaide.
At Skilled Stadium on Saturday, it's also the last game for coach Paul Roos.
The flag-winning coach will hand over the reins to Simon Goodwin after three transformative years at the club.
Tyson said there would be an element of `doing it for Roosy' but the main motivator would be heading into the off-season break on a high.
After a season of such promise, Tyson said it would be unacceptable for the Demons to limp to the line.
"With Roosy's last game this weekend we want to put on a really good performance," he said.
"We'll acknowledge it later in the week and think about ways we can send off his legacy.
"It's important to win for him as his last game as a coach.
"We've got a bit to play (for). We don't want to finish the year with another game like we did on the weekend."
The 23-year-old said he hoped Melbourne's loss to Carlton wasn't a mental lapse.
"We've had a good month of footy. Whether that low was coming, you'd like to think not with a bit on the line," he said.
"To be honest I think we were just outplayed."
