Voters were hot and bothered in Sydney.
But it wasn't just the scorching sun that put people in a bad mood.
"We've all got incredible fatigue," said one woman waiting in a queue snaking through a playground at an inner-west school.
"We've had the pro-Julia people, the pro-Kevin people and the Liberal Party all campaigning at us for six years."
If there's one party seemingly being perked up by the voter fatigue it's the Australian Greens.

"The Libs offer little for me, and Labor haven't been behaving all that well lately," said 39-year-old musician Mark Lewis, who's giving his vote to the Greens.
Firefighter Simon Bracht, 34, was also despondent.
"They haven't handled themselves well over the last couple of weeks. There's been a lot of mistakes," he said of the two major parties.
Another woman, aged 58, said she was defecting to the Greens after decades of backing the coalition.
"I know it's a huge change, but it's just my protest. It's all I can do to protest," she told AAP as she left the booth at Erskineville Public School.
A 43-year-old teacher, who also asked not to be named, said she had had enough of a rocky Labor government "playing with her emotions".
"I think they're about to be caned today, and I think they probably deserve it," she said.
Greens candidate Cate Faehrmann, who is vying for a NSW Senate spot, believes change is in the air this election, with more people understanding the difference between the Senate and the lower house.
"Now that people are comprehending that it looks like a Tony Abbott government, much of the focus has been on the Senate," she told AAP.
Erskineville is in the seat of Sydney, which is expected to be retained by Labor's Tanya Plibersek.
