Bulley joins Australian teammates Julie Corletto and Kimberlee Green in hanging up the bib, however Green will continue to play in the trans-Tasman league for the NSW Swifts.

Bulley called time on her netball career on Friday, the 32-year-old checking out after making 42 Diamonds appearances - highlighted by last Sunday's victory over New Zealand in the World Cup final - and winning three trans-Tasman netball league championships.

"I couldn't have scripted this year any better so the timing feels right for me to retire from netball and start the next stage of my life," Bulley said.

"I've cherished every moment on the netball court."

The Victorian-born netballer played 195 league games, becoming the first player to win three championships with three different sides - NSW Swifts in 2008, Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2013 and Queensland Firebirds in 2015.

She was also named Swifts MVP in 2010 and the Thunderbirds' club champion in 2012.

"Rebecca epitomises the Australian Diamonds ethos with her selflessness, work ethic and dedication," said Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander.
