Another 48 Dick Smith jobs are to go as the electronics retailer closes the last of its stores at Sydney Airport.

The receiver for the collapsed electronics retailer Ferrier Hodgson said it would close four Move tech accessory stores at Sydney Airport.

"Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach agreement to sell the Move Airport assets and have no option but to close the stores located at Sydney International Airport effective from today," receiver James Stewart said.

About 48 employees will lose their job, joining 2,460 laid off staff across the country.

The electronics retailer announced it was closing all its name brand stores on February 25.
