Steve Dickson will stay on as One Nation's Queensland leader despite losing his seat at the election.
Mr Dickson released a statement on Tuesday confirming his role would include supporting the party's sole elected MP, Stephen Andrew, and preparing for the next poll.
"One Nation's vote is up 1539 per cent since the last Queensland election, which has gone from 24,111 votes to a staggering 371,193," he said.
"We want to assure residents that One Nation will remain an active force in Queensland politics."
Senator Pauline Hanson said the former Member for Buderim was a "valuable asset" to One Nation.

"I'm pleased that Steve has accepted my offer to remain the party's Queensland leader," she said in the statement.
Mr Dickson defected from the LNP to One Nation earlier this year but was booted from parliament by his electorate at the November 25 poll.
