Disneyland's amusement park in Anaheim, California is the most shared photo in the world in 2014 on Instagram.
The company also published a list of the ten most popular locations shared on the social networking site.
The first of the Disney theme parks, that opened in 1955 during Walt Disney's lifetime, receives an average of 15 million visitors every year.
After Disneyland, the two other most shared places on Instagram this year were baseball's Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and the crossroads of Times Square in New York.
These were followed by last year's top-rated spot, the shopping mall Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Gorky Park in Moscow, the Louvre Museum in Paris and Moscow's Red Square.

Completing the list are New York's Madison Square Garden and Yankee Stadium, and the Dubai Mall in the United Arab Emirates.
The Instagram list was developed based on the data of those users who posted pictures on the site using its geolocation option.
