Diversity at the ABC: will SBS presenters abandon us?

New ABC managing director has made diversity her top priority. What does that mean for us?

As Mark Scott retired after a decade as the ABC managing director, he said one of his biggest regrets was hiring too many Caucasians. And he's got a point - most programs on the network are beyond the pale.

That could be about to change: incoming MD Michelle Guthrie has put diversity at the top of her priority list. Which is great news for multicultural Australia, and for any SBS presenters looking to jump ship.

But you guys wouldn't abandon us, would you? Guys? Guys?
