Labor leader Julia Gillard is a non-practicing Baptist who describes herself as not being religious. Coalition leader Tony Abbott is a Catholic who once studied to join the priesthood, and who calls himsef as a 'Christian in politics, not a Christian politician'. Do Australians care about whether their leaders are religious or not, and about what religion they believe in?
