Australia have edged closer towards a series clean sweep by taking two wickets before lunch on the fifth day against a fighting Pakistan at Bellerive Oval.
Dogged No.3 Khurrum Manzoor (59 not out) and young paceman Mohammad Aamer (12 not out) have dug in to see the tourists to 6-168 at lunch in the third Test.
Never in the hunt for an improbable 438 for victory, Pakistan added 65 runs to their overnight score in two-and-a-half hours but lost Shoaib Malik (19) and rookie wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed (5) on the way.
