Doray sees steady output from Deflector

Gold producer Doray Minerals has forecast production of 40,000-50,000 ounces of gold from its newly-started Deflector project in Western Australia.

Gold producer Doray Minerals has forecast production of 40,000-50,000 ounces of gold, and 3,000-4,000 tonnes of copper in the 2016/17 fiscal year from its its Deflector project in Western Australia, and 60,000 ounces of gold in subsequent years.

Doray, which acquired the project through its 2014 merger with rival Mutiny Gold, poured the first gold bar at the site in May and sent its first shipment in June.

Production from its existing Andy Well project is forecast to be 65,000-70,000 ounces for 2016/17.
