A historic five-wicket blitz by Deandra Dottin has helped the West Indies to a thumping 60-run win over Bangladesh in their Women's World Twenty20 clash in Guyana.
Defending a lowly 8-106, Dottin claimed the best figures in the tournament's history with a spell of 5-6 to roll Bangladesh for just 46 inside 15 overs.
Her figures were also the third best in all women's Twenty20 matches, as the defending champions asserted their power from their opening match of the tournament.
"I rate this one as one of the top performances I've had," Dottin said.
"Most of the performances I've had in the past were with the bat but coming through with the ball is very tremendous.
"Having a slow start and having a low total on the board, the main thing was to pick up wickets, so I just wanted to pick up quick wickets."
Such was the Windies' dominance with the ball, no Bangladeshi batter reached double figures on a wicket that offered plenty of assistance to spinners in the third match on it on Friday.
It came after Kycia Knight (32) and Stafanie Taylor (29) had been the hosts' best with the bat, as they too struggled to find their groove.
The West Indies are the main threat from Group A alongside England and South Africa, with Australia, India and New Zealand among the teams in Group B.
