Engineering group Downer EDI has won a $250 million, two-year extension for its mining services contract for Stanwell Corp's Meandu coal mine in south east Queensland.
The contract will now run until June 2020, the company said.
Downer has also signed a technical services agreement, worth $2 million, with India's Adani Enterprises for planning, design and project services at the group's coal mines in that country.
