St George Illawarra have beaten the Warriors 22-10 at ANZ Stadium to set up a thrilling final round of the NRLW competition.
The win on Saturday moved the Dragons equal with the second-placed Warriors on points and just eight points behind on for-and-against after they blew them out of the water early in front of 16,274 fans.
The Dragons will now play the winless Sydney Roosters next Saturday, while the Warriors face the undefeated Brisbane in Melbourne on Friday night.
The top two teams will qualify through to the decider on NRL grand final day.
Without captain Sam Bremner due to a broken toe, the Dragons scored twice from their own end in the first five minutes through winger Shakiah Tungai and fullback Honey Hireme.
Tungai scored the first via a 90m intercept before Hireme finished off a left-edge movement that began on the Dragons' own 30m line.
Flogged 30-4 by Brisbane last week, the Dragons also lost five-eighth Keeley Davis to the sin bin in the first half but held on before Jessica Sergis and Rikeya Horne put the game beyond doubt with tries early in the second half.
The Warriors scored their first through Raquel Anderson-Pitman in the second half, while Sarina Clark got over for a crucial four-pointer with three minutes to play to give the visitors a for-and-against advantage headed into the final week.
"They've probably played their whole careers trying to get somewhere, impress someone and do things they were told they can't do," Dragons coach Daniel Lacey said.
"I gave them an opportunity and they took it and I'm proud of it.
"They want one more win, they want to get to the big dance and they want to show what they can do."
