AC Milan have fought back from two-goals down to snatch a last-gasp 2-2 draw with Inter Milan in Saturday's Serie A derby, which was their first game under new Chinese ownership.
Cristian Zapata levelled in the seventh minute of stoppage time, with the aid of goal-line technology, after Alessio Romagnoli had scored Milan's first in the 83rd minute.
Inter had led 2-0 from Antonio Candreva's long-range effort on 36 minutes and Mauro Icardi's conversion of a low cross eight minutes later.
Milan remain sixth on 58 points, two points clear of seventh-placed Inter, and one point adrift of a Europa League berth with seven games remaining.
The lunch-time kickoff for the derby, the first in 218 meetings between the old rivals, was designed for the Asian television market.
The game was played less than 48 hours after Milan were sold to a Chinese-led consortium in a billion dollar deal, following in the footsteps of Inter who have been owned by retail giant Suning Commerce Group since June.
