Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld has reopened two of its so-called 'Big Nine' thrill rides.

The Pandamonium and Mick Doohan's Motocoaster rides are back online almost two months after a fatal accident claimed the lives of four guests on the Thunder River Rapids ride.

The remaining seven thrill rides - including the Claw, BuzzSaw and Tower of Terror II - remain closed as Dreamworld continues an internal and external safety review of every attraction in the park.

Dreamworld chief executive Craig Davidson said the two rides, as well as the Dreamworld Express train ride, had been reopened after clearing the multi-level reviews.

"Other rides will be brought on-line progressively, over the coming weeks, as they receive sign-off from the safety review," Mr Davidson said.

Dreamworld reopened on December 10 after being closed for six weeks following the deaths of Kate Goodchild, Roozi Araghi, Luke Dorsett and Cindy Low in the October 25 tragedy.

At the time of the reopening, none of the park's major thrill rides were operating.

In another sign of the park returning to full operations, a summer pyrotechnics show is set to launch following Christmas.

The Fire Machine show starts at 8.30pm on Boxing Day and will run nightly through to January 15.
