Drink driving charge after Sydney stabbing

A woman who drove a stab-wound victim to hospital in Sydney's inner west has been charged with drink driving.

A woman has been charged with high-range drink driving after allegedly transporting a man who'd been stabbed to a hospital in Sydney's inner west.

The 33-year-old woman returned a reading of 0.20 after driving the 28-year-old man - who had suffered a stab wound - to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on Sunday morning, police say.

Inquiries are continuing into how the man was stabbed, with police seizing a number of items from a house in Marrickville.

The woman is scheduled to face Newtown Local Court on May 4.
