Drinking before going out 'an alarming problem'

A world-first study has found that some young drinkers consume as many as 25 standard drinks before going out, Luke Waters reports.

The high cost of drinks in licenced venues is said to drive the behaviour, known as 'pre-loading', which has some experts calling for a levy on packaged alcohol.
