The driver accused of causing a crash at a Florida daycare centre that killed a four-year-old girl has been arrested.
Twenty-eight-year old Robert Alex Corchado on Thursday turned himself in to police, who charged him with leaving the scene of a deadly accident. The Orange County Corrections Department says he's being held on $US100,000 ($A106,550) bond.
Police say Corchado crashed into another motorist, who in turn smashed into the daycare centre on Wednesday, killing the girl and injuring 14 others. Ten people remain hospitalised.
Corchado has a lengthy criminal history. His lawyer confirmed he turned himself in but declined to comment further.
Police had been searching for Corchado for almost a full day.
