A man has died after his car crashed into a train at a rail crossing in Western Australia's southwest.

A man has died after his car collided with a train at a rail crossing in Western Australia's southwest.

Police say the car crashed into the train as it crossed Brunswick Junction in Australind around 6.15am on Tuesday.

The male driver, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene.
