Police have swooped on 67 properties in Melbourne and country towns in Victoria in one of the state's biggest ever drugs raids.
The raids, involving 650 police, ended a two-year investigation targeting a number of alleged organised crime syndicates involved in the production of cannabis.
Police are expecting to make a number of arrests and take control of a significant number of properties.
The operation involved members from the Drug Task Force, Criminal Proceeds Squad, Crime Department, Operations Response Unit, Regional Response Units and local police, along with members of the Australian Federal Police.
They raided properties in the Dandenong, Melton and Footscray areas, as well as Horsham, Geelong, Ballarat and Warrnambool.

Police are getting ready to clear property from a number of addresses in Melbourne that have been raided in what they are calling Operation Entity.
They are outside homes in Greens Road, Wyndham Vale, in Melbourne's west, at President Road, Narre Warren South, in Melbourne's southeast and at Main Road West, St Albans, in the northwest.
Police say they have smashed a cartel which has raked in around $400 million over the past two years.
