Three stolen guns and almost 150 cannabis plants have been seized in separate raids in northern Tasmania.

Police searches in Sassafras on Wednesday found three stolen guns, one unregistered gun, ammunition, stolen tools and cannabis plants, leading to a 27-year-old man being charged.

Then, in an unrelated search in Railton on Thursday, officers found 148 mature cannabis plants. A Railton man, 31, has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance and firearms offences.
