A drunk driver has been arrested after crashing his car outside a church where mourners were bidding farewell to one of five young men killed in a high-speed collision.
The unlicensed 47-year-old man was alleged to have had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.287, nearly six times the legal limit.
He was barely able to walk as he was escorted to a police car outside the St Francis of Assisi church in Mill Park, Melbourne, where the funeral of Anthony Ianetta was being held.

Mr Iannetta, 18, died alongside his friends Steven Johnstone, Matt Lister, 17, Ben Hall, 19, and Will Te-Whare, 15, when the car they were in slammed into a tree on Sunday.
Police say P-plater Mr Johnstone, who was behind the wheel, had been drinking before the fatal accident. His blood alcohol concentration was 0.190.
Guard of honour
Friends of Mr Iannetta formed a guard of honour as the teenager's coffin was carried from the church, while others hugged and wiped away tears.
Some threw flowers onto his coffin as it lay in the back of the silver hearse.
Mr Iannetta's sister Elissa, the only survivor of the horror crash, is believed to have been among hundreds of mourners at the service.
But amid the heartache and anguish there was anger, with dozens of friends of the dead man confronting reporters and camera crews outside the church.
There was a visible police presence at the funeral, with two marked cars parked on each side of the church while others drove by at regular intervals.
Roadside tributes
At the conclusion of Thursday's funeral, mourners walked or drove to the crash scene in Lower Plenty Road, just a kilometre from the church.
A memorial there to the five young men features flowers, graffitied messages of remembrance and flags.
A funeral for another of the victims, Mr Lister, will be held on Friday at the Abbey Funerals chapel in Settlement Road, Thomastown, at 2pm (AEDT).
Mr Hall will be farewelled at a service at the same chapel on Monday at 10.30am.
It is not known when Mr Johnstone and his half brother Will Te-Whare will be laid to rest.
