The ex-wife of a US man killed by a drunk driver has spoken publicly about his apparent killer’s online confession.
Matthew Cordle, 22, last week posted a video to non-profit website becauseisaidiwould.com in which he confessed to killing 61-year-old Vincent Canzani after a night out with friends.
He said he accepted "full responsibility" for the June death and would "hand the prosecution everything they needed" to imprison him.
Cordle was today charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and faces a maximum eight-year prison sentence, the BBC reported.

The family of Vincent Canzani has this week spoken publicly for the first time since the video went viral.
"He ruined two lives," ex-wife Cheryl Oates said
"He took Vince's life and he ruined his life."
The mother-of-two said she sympathised with the young driver despite his confession.
"It's gut wrenching coming from a mother and looking at that young boy. He just doesn’t understand the damage that he did," she said.
"He said 'I've made a huge mistake and I’m going to take what coming to me'. You’ve got to respect that."
