Dustin Martin is the 2017 Brownlow Medallist, winning the award with a record 36 votes ahead of ineligible Geelong star Patrick Dangerfield (33) and Hawthorn's Tom Mitchell (25).
The Tigers superstar joins last year's winner Dangerfield in being voted the game's best player by umpires, players and coaches.
