Speculation right-wingers are angling for Peter Dutton to replace Julie Bishop as the Liberal Party's deputy leader has been dismissed by a senior cabinet minister.
Ms Bishop has held the position since 2007, serving under leaders Brendan Nelson, Malcolm Turnbull twice and Tony Abbott.
Finance Minister Mathias Cormann told reporters in Canberra on Friday the team going to the election would remain unchanged after the July 2.
