Eagles, Swans do Jetta AFL trade deal

Sydney and West Coast have agreed to a straight swap that sends Lewis Jetta to the Eagles and Callum Sinclair to the Swans.

Sydney AFL premiership star Lewis Jetta has joined West Coast in a straight swap for Eagles ruckman Callum Sinclair.

Jetta, 26, played 127 games in six years with the Swans, including the 2012 grand final win, but the speedster flagged at the end of the season his intention to return home to Western Australia.

Sinclair, also 26, enjoyed a breakout campaign for West Coast and managed 20 games, including the grand final, after entering the season with just nine career matches to his name.

With Sydney lead ruckman Mike Pyke likely to retire, Sinclair will share ruck duties with Kurt Tippett from next year.
