Ferries on Sydney Harbour have resumed after fog forced the suspension of services early on Monday morning.

Transport NSW says ferry services will still be delayed and passengers should allow more travel time.

Harbour ferries resumed just before 8am, while the Parramatta River Cat was back in service just after 7.30am.

The fog has also caused delays at Sydney Airport. Passengers have been advised to contact airlines to check if their flight has been affected.
