Hundreds of ecstasy pills have allegedly been found by police in a South Australian hotel room on the first day of schoolies.

Two men in their early 20s have been charged with trafficking after they allegedly had more than 200 ecstasy tablets in their Victor Harbor hotel room overnight, police said on Saturday.

Another 20-year-old has also been charged with possessing 52 ecstasy pills, while a school leaver has been charged with possessing 10 pills.
