Football star Eddie Betts will do the Adelaide Oval roof climb and Olympic champion Kyle Chalmers will swim around the oyster farms off South Australia's west coast in a new tourism campaign.
The first commercial will go to air on Saturday during the AFL Grand Final between the West Coast Eagles and Collingwood and seeks to build on South Australia's $6.7 billion visitor economy.
Tourism Minister David Ridgway says the campaign, which also features local singers and chefs, will be a spectacular way to showcase SA.
"As a government, we are constantly looking to raise the bar in relation to how we market SA to the world, and the campaign takes viewers on an immersive, in-depth journey across our glorious state," Mr Ridgway said.
SA Tourism Commission chief executive Rodney Harrex said the campaign was about engaging the community.
"It's about showcasing in 120 hours of footage what our state has to offer," he said.
