Parramatta enforcer Tepai Moeroa is set to miss an NRL round over his heavy treatment of Gold Coast's Ash Taylor.

Moeroa has been cited by the match review committee for a shoulder charge on the halfback during the Titans' 26-14 win on Friday night.

The Eels repeatedly targeted Taylor, with Moeroa and Manu Ma'u hitting him late as he kicked in an effort to put him off his game.

The grade-one charge means Moeroa will miss next week's clash with premiers Cronulla and he risks being out for a fortnight if he contests it at the judiciary.
