Parramatta NRL star Semi Radradra has been detained by police and is assisting them with inquiries in relation to an allegation of domestic violence.
The winger, was put into an unmarked car by police at Sydney International Airport's loading dock just before 11pm (AEST), after he returned on a flight from Fiji.
"A 24 year-old man has been detained by police at Sydney Airport tonight," a NSW Police media spokesperson said.
"He has been taken to Mascot police station, where he is assisting police with inquiries in relation to domestic violence."
The winger returned to Australia to face battles on various fronts, his former partner having sought an apprehended violence order against him following allegations of multiple assaults.

There was also confusion about his playing future with reports the flyer was seeking a release from his NRL contract to play in France.
Former teammate Jarryd Hayne was left to do the talking, the ex-Eel sharing the flight with Radradra from Nadi.
Hayne said he was more worried about Radradra as a person than as an athlete.
The NFL convert, who is now seeking a start for Fiji in rugby sevens at the Rio Olympics, said it was just a coincidence that the pair was on the same flight but that he'd had a good conversation with the Eels winger.
Fijian born Radradra is still expected to train with Parramatta on Friday morning and play against Cronulla on Saturday.
Asked about how Radradra had reacted to the developments of the last 48 hours when details of the AVO became public knowledge, Hayne said: "It has been a bit of mayhem by all reports but I think the biggest advice I gave to him is he's got to run a tight ship."
Hayne has returned from Fiji for treatment on a hip injury in a bid to remain in contention for their sevens team to be named in two weeks.
