Parramatta have made their fourth re-signing in a week, locking in hooker Isaac De Gois for a further two years until the end of the 2018 NRL season.

The experienced De Gois, joining the Eels midway through 2014, has 223 first-grade matches to his credit and is set to play his 50th game for the club in Monday night's clash with St George Illawarra at Pirtek Stadium.

Coach Brad Arthur said the retention of De Gois would strengthen the Parramatta roster.

"It also allows Isaac to continue his valuable mentoring role to younger members of the squad, such as Kaysa Pritchard.

"Isaac has been a key leader for our team this season and I am pleased that he will be remaining with our squad until the end of 2018," Arthur said.

"With the retention of a number of players for 2017, our squad is shaping up well for next season."

In the past week, the Eels have also re-signed playmaker Corey Norman, prop Danny Wicks and Kenny Edwards.

De Gois made his NRL debut in 2006 with the Wests Tigers, before two stints at Cronulla and three years with Newcastle.
