Parramatta will welcome back Kieran Foran for Monday's NRL clash with Melbourne after the Eels skipper re-united with his teammates on Friday.
Foran has spent the past three weeks in a Brisbane rehabilitation clinic to address personal issues, but returned to training on Friday and will suit up against the Storm in Parramatta.
Teammate Michael Jennings said Foran was "upbeat" and trained like he hadn't missed a day on the field.
"He trained with us today and so far it's good. He's pretty positive and he trained well today. It's good to have him back," Jennings said on Friday.
"He's the ultimate professional so he would've been looking after himself away from training. He didn't look out of beat when he was on the paddock today."
Prop Junior Paulo said Foran was in "good spirits" and believed that the five-eighth's return, coupled with Brad Takairangi pushing back to the flanks for the Storm game, made the team whole again.
"It's like he's never been gone," Paulo said.
"It felt like our team is complete," Paulo said.
It is believed the 25-year-old Foran will remain with the team until game day before going back on personal leave and heading back to Brisbane.
It is uncertain whether he will return for the club's round game against Newcastle on Monday week.
"His doctor thinks that what is best for him now is to get back into playing football," coach Brad Arthur told Sky Sports Radio's Big Sports Breakfast.
"He's still going to need some ongoing treatment. He will go back on Tuesday and then we'll go into the Newcastle game and then we've got a bye. So that gives him a fair bit of time to continue his treatment."
Paulo also addressed his recent crosscode stint in third grade rugby, saying it was an "act of stupidity" that he would never repeat again.
The Canberra-bound front-rower donned headgear and signed in under an alias for a 20-minute cameo for his brother-in-law's Oatley team just one day after the Eels' round nine win over Canterbury.
"That's something that I probably won't be doing any time soon. It's something out of stupidity for me," he said.
"I didn't take into consideration that it would take me into too much strife. What's done is done and now I'm just looking to move on and hopefully not be in that position ever again."
