Egyptian TV ad warns of foreigners

State television in Egypt has broadcast commercials promoting suspicion of English-speaking foreigners as spies.

Some in Egypt say the government is using foreigners as scapegoats for the country's woes.

But with Egypt reliant on tourism, there are claims that authorities are “shooting themselves in the foot”.
