Egypt's football fan clubs, full of limitless energy and a nationwide organisation of devoted fans, became politicised during the revolution and helped bring down the Mubarak government.
Now those fan clubs have put sport rivalries behind them and united to protest the military takeover that has put democratically elected President Morsi in jail.

Some Ultras admit they are members of the Muslim Brotherhood, President Morsi's political power base, but most say they are opposed to the coup.
