Eight snakes stolen from Sydney pet shop

Eight snakes, including an albino Darwin carpet python, have been stolen from a pet shop in Sydney's west that was broken into at the weekend.

Eight snakes have been stolen from a western Sydney pet shop.

It's believed thieves broke into Macarthur Pets & The Reptile Shop in Gregory Hills on Sunday morning at about 6.30am, police say.

Several display tanks were smashed with the thieves stealing eight reptiles including an albino Darwin carpet python.
