A young boy is fighting for his life after being pulled unconscious from a pool in Sydney's inner west.

Family members performed CPR on the eight-year-old boy after he was rescued from the pool in Haberfield before being rushed to Sydney Children's Hospital in a critical condition on Saturday afternoon.

A hospital spokesperson says he's still in a critical condition on Sunday morning.
