Elderly fisherman missing off WA coast

A 78-year-old fisherman is feared missing in waters off Western Australia's Mid West region after failing to return to shore on time.

A fisherman is missing in waters off Western Australia's Mid West region.

The 78-year-old man set off fishing from the Geraldton boat ramp about 6am on Friday and failed to return on time, his family say.

He is in a 13-foot white Quintrex aluminium boat, with a red stripe on the side.
