Elderly man dies in scooter crash

Police believe an elderly man, who died after his mobility scooter crashed, lost control of the vehicle while travelling downhill.

An elderly man has died after his mobility scooter crashed in Sydney's south, police say.

Emergency services found the elderly man seriously injured after they were called to Corella Road at Kirrawee just after 7pm (AEDT) on Friday.

The man died at the scene.

Police believe the man, aged in his 70s, lost control of his scooter while travelling downhill.
