Elderly man killed in car, house crash

A 75-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car which then crashed into a house in Melbourne.

A 75-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car reportedly driven by his wife, which then crashed into a house in Melbourne.

The man was hit by a car driven by a 73-year-old woman in Ash Court in Clayton South about 1pm on Tuesday.

The elderly man died at the scene and the car caused minor damage to the house.

His wife is assisting police with their inquiries.

The death will not be counted to the road toll.
