Elders criticise Mataraka water allocations

The Aquifer feeds the Roper River and is integral to all communities surrounding Mataraka, 400 kilometres south east of Darwin.

But now a deal approved by the previous Labor Government has been overturned, and a new deal will allow one property alone to access to almost 30 percent of the water.
