Election 2013: Dan asks Campbelltown

'Boganville' and 'Captain Planet' are possible alternatives to the name Campbelltown, according to residents of the western Sydney suburb.

Australian comedian Dan llic has hit the streets of western Sydney to answer voters’ questions ahead of the 2013 federal election.

Ilic put questions contributed by voters to the residents of Campbelltown as part of what he called "Dan asks".

"When will Campbelltown get a Taco Bell?" he asked one young resident.

"Hopefully soon because I’m a chef myself and I’ve seen a lot of the junk food go around here; it’s getting annoying and people should start looking at being healthy," the man replied.

While some residents agreed that tucking your T-shirt in to your trousers counted as dressing up, one woman had some sage advice:

"Sometimes when you have a pot, you know, it’s better to put it out…to leave it out," she said.

When it came to politics, one questioner sought to find out who took the top spot in Australia’s political history.

But the woman questioned wasn't about to be cornered.

"Actually Gough Whitlam, I’m going to go with," she said.
