The actress and newly appointed UN Women Goodwill Ambassador addressed the United Nations over the weekend, addressing her decision to identify as a feminist and calling on women to dismiss recent criticism of the label.
The speech prompted widespread praise online, but one 4chan user has instead created an ominous website targeting the actress.
Titled “Emma You Are Next”, the site features a photo of Watson and a countdown timer.

It also features the 4chan logo and the message “Never forget, the biggest to come thus far”.
The site does not clarify what it is counting down to, but it follows the leaking of nude images of actresses by the notorious online message board.
The images of actresses including Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence were allegedly accessed via the iCloud accounts, before being posted on 4chan.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation launched an investigation earlier this month after the first batch of pictures was published.
On Saturday, US media reported that more nude celebrity photos, including reality star Kim Kardashian and actress Vanessa Hudgens, had been circulating on social media.
