Employers asking for Facebook login and password

When you go interview for a job your potential employer isn't allowed to ask you about your age, race or religion. But what about asking for your Facebook login?

It is Facebook's policy to prohibit anyone from giving the login information or accessing an account belonging to someone else.

But some US job applicants are being asked to login into Facebook voluntarily as an interviewer looks over their shoulder.
