England lock in Aussie, Indian home series

The England Cricket Board has confirmed its 2018 home schedule which includes five one-dayers against Australia and a five-Test series against top-ranked India.

England will host world No.1 Test side India in a five-match series for only the second time since 1959, as part of its 2018 schedule which includes matches against Australia, Pakistan and Scotland.

England will play seven Tests, nine one-day internationals (ODIs) and four Twenty20s next year and begin on May 24 against Pakistan, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said said on Tuesday.

England and Pakistan, who drew 2-2 in the four-Test series last year, face off in Tests at Lord's and Headingley.

England then travel to Edinburgh for a one-dayer on June 10 when Eoin Morgan's men face Scotland.

Australia visit England for five ODIs and one T20 between June 13 and 27, before the India series begins with three T20s and three ODIs in July.

The five-Test series against Virat Kohli's men begins on August 1 at Edgbaston.
