England score 7-350 against India in ODI

After being sent in to bat by India in Pune, England have posted 7-350 from their 50 overs - their highest ODI score against India.

England posted their highest one-day international cricket score against India in the first ODI at Pune, as Jason Roy, Joe Root and Ben Stokes drove the tourists to 7-350.

Root, taking guard for the first time since becoming a new father last weekend, anchored things with a measured 78 with opener Roy and Stokes topping and tailing the innings with a flurry of boundaries.

Roy started it with 73 in 61 balls with Stokes unloading five sixes in his 40-ball 62.

England, asked to bat first by Virat Kohli, reaped 115 runs from the last 10 overs to ease past their previous best of 8-338 in Bangalore six years ago.
