England to play Aust in series-ending Test

Eddie Jones, who was appointed England's new rugby union coach a fortnight ago, will face his native Australia at Twickenham on December 3 next year.

England will play South Africa, Fiji, Argentina and Australia in next year's November rugby union international Tests, it's been announced.

Eddie Jones, who was appointed England's new head coach a fortnight ago, will face his native Australia in the final match of the series, outside the international Test window, on Saturday December 3 at Twickenham.

Fiji have been added to the list for 2016.

The Islanders finished fourth in Pool A at this year's World Cup, following defeats to England, Australia and Wales.

World Cup semi-finalists South Africa are England's first opponents on November 12 before they play Fiji and Argentina.

"It's great to be able to take on four such quality teams on back to back weekends," England full-back Mike Brown said on Wednesday.

"It allows us to test ourselves against some high calibre opposition and it's great that Old Mutual Wealth is supporting the series."

Australia will play five tests on five consecutive Saturdays, including one against France in Paris.

Wales, which also announced its 2016 schedule on Wednesday, will play World Cup runners-up Australia on Saturday November 5.

The Wallabies then play Scotland on November 12, France the following week, and Ireland on November 26.
