The village of Courbefy in rural France, which has been abandoned since 2008, costs around as much as a studio apartment in Paris.
Many decades ago Courbefy was a bustling community of about 200, but people have gradually moved away from the isolated village, leaving behind 18th century stone houses and a 13th century chapel.
The village, including 19 buildings and 22 acres of land, will go on the auction block in April or May.
